Chapter 19 was a very interesting chapter. I didn't expecting the events that occurred in this extreme chapter. His life came off as such a peaceful and regular life and out of nowhere is only father-like figure dies. This is typical for Bone because he tries to have someone in his life who he can look up to as a role model and that person either lets him down or leaves.
Man's inhumanity to man is when humans treat other humans with total disrespect or neglect, which I think should never happen if you have any morals what so ever. In the book, there are prime examples of man's inhumanity. Ken shows this by having sex with Bone earlier and then treating him with no respect. This is just cruel and nasty and should never be done. I couldn't imagine anyone I know doing that to someone they love or doing that to a step-son that your forced to live with. Also, when I-Man is shot because of the fact that he got the bed rocking with Evening Star. That was no real reason to kill a man over, and I think it immature and stupid. This shows how dumb humans can be, and how we sometimes don't think about the actions we do.
I believe that I-Man is ultimately responsible for his own death. He should have been smart enough not to have sex with one of his friend's chicks especially if they're in the same house separated by a thin wall. I-Man couldn't keep his sexual desires under control, and paid the price. But that wasn't the only event that caused the death of I-Man. Bone should have never told his dad. I think he doesn't have a strong enough connection to his father to have told him that and most likely if it was just one of Bone's friends he would of never said anything. Doc should have never got that mad, and tell someone to kill I-Man. If he really wanted to get revenge on I-Man, he would of followed I-Man out of the house and chased him down but instead his sexual desires get the best of him as well. Jason never should have shot and killed I-Man. It was never any of his business to get involved between the two men and their problems
